"Show Me The Money" - A Realistic Sample Of Working With Me, So You Can Better Decide...

"You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation." ~ Plato

In his masterpiece, Don Quixote de la Mancha, Miguel de Cervantes inadvertently made a great revelation about professional services when he told us that...

"The proof of the pudding is in the tasting."

Yes, just like pudding, professional services must be tasted before purchased. Buying professional services based on brochures, sales pitches, references, testimonials and portfolios is the same as tasting pudding before it settles.

Before settling, pudding is not pudding at all, just some hot and soapy mass of bits and bobs. It can only burn your tongue and insult your taste buds. And very often the same happens to buyers of professional services.

Basing their buying decisions on the "hot and soapy mass" of unsettled pudding, that is, self-aggrandising brochures and well-rehearsed presentations, carefulluy crafted testimonials, they engage service professionals, but when the "pudding" settles - during or on completion of the project - they often feel it was a waste of time and money.

This is the reason why I offer this mandatory "tasting" session for buyers who consider engaging my help and support for the first time. It is mandatory because just as you are looking for the best service provider, I am looking for great clients. It is a qualification process for both of us to see if we have a mutually beneficial basis for working together based on mutual trust, respect and peer-level candour.

The Purpose of the "Show Me The Money" session is to offer you a real taste of what it feels like working with me, so you can make the most intelligent business decision based on your own first-hand experience, not myths, legends and hearsays, also known as testimonials and references.

The "Show Me The Money" session is a powerful one-hour consulting session with buyers who have never worked with me and would like to sample me both in terms of my expertise and style, that is, what it feels like working together.

Since during The Pudding we work on your real issues related to real clients, and we develop real solutions, I encourage you to bring real issues to the table, so we can dig deep in to find the real cause (What you think the problem is, is most probably only a symptom), and then we can develop a real solution, not just a quick-fix; a Band Aid cover-up which keeps coming back biting you in the arse again and again.

We also audio record the whole session and you will receive an MP3 recording of it, so you can listen to the programme again and hear new, previously missed bits and bobs.

How This Works

You send me your issue upfront, so I can better prepare. It doesn't mean we have to stick to the very same questions in the one-hour consultation. We set a time and a date, and either you call me or come to my office on the allocated time and date.

Then we work on your isseus and discover whether or not we want to continue in a project. That's all.

So, if you're interested, then read On Becoming A Client, and return the relevant documents to me. Then we set the date and time for our sample session and that's all. And the sample session helps both of us to decide if we want to continue and commence the engagement. That's all.
