FAQ: What Type And Size Of Companies Do You Work With?

I work exclusively with privately held 1) information technology 2) general high-tech and 3) engineering companies.

The reason for this is that I'm a former engineer, engineering manager and buyer for $1 million plus technology/industrial solutions, thus have an intimate understanding of how technology solutions are purchased. Actually, I'm one of the handful of technology marketing folks with real life "in the trenches" industrial experience.

In terms of size, I work with small and medium sized companies up to 500 people. Companies that are established and could benefit not only from my marketing and sales expertise but from my knowledge and insights as a former buyer. My clients are already doing what they want to do, but using my help and support they want to reach out to capture that "mysterious extra" in profit, quality, client satisfaction, reputation, professional fulfilment.

And while I openly admit that there are better marketers than me (let's get real!), I can also say that I'm one of the handful of technology marketers who's been and worked on the buyer's side of the negotiation table and really understands the savvy technology buyer's mindset and decision-making process. But since my expertise is based on deep-seated principles as opposed to flavour-of-the-month methods, my work is fully scalable to companies of any size. The objective is the same regardless of size...

"How can we sell our stuff in such a way that the fee or price we charge represents the true value our stuff delivers to our clients to improve their condition? And how can we get the most fulfilment and enjoyment out of this process?"
