FAQ: What's Your Guarantee For Results On Your Copy?

Nothing. Not a sausage. Not even a dickybird. I can't guarantee results because creating results using my copy is out of my hands.

Copy is only one of the many variables in your business development process. And since I'm not in direct control of your business, I can't control how you apply my copy. The copy is a powerful tool. But that's all. And copy, just like any tool in the world, must be skilfully applied to your whole business development strategy to produce results.

It's like giving a world-class scalpel to a "surgeon" who doesn't understand the principles and intricacies of anatomy. Regardless of how good the scalpel is, the surgeon will keep producing corpses one after the other, while cursing the manufacturer of the scalpel without ever realising that he himself is the very root of the problem.

But when you put great tools in the hands of capable and competent people, then the results can be pretty astonishing. I believe good copy is the most powerful tool in your marketing arsenal. And it's really up to you how you use and what you make of that tool in your hands.

But realistically there is a guarantee. Look, my income comes not from the flat fee I charge but from the ongoing royalties I receive based on the revenue the copy generates. And I'd like to maximise my income. So, I share the risk with you. If you make a commitment, I put my royalties on the line.
